The scissor grille has the characteristics of reducing in height as it is extended in width, hence the desired height extended should be specified. Locks for lattice-type folding gates are usually hasp for padlocks but other locking options are also available. Installation of gates may be such as to allow them to collapse and swing against the wall or to disappear into pockets. It is useful in all situations requiring moderate security from unwanted intrusion.
